He rose from the dead

"But God raised Him up again, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power.

So Jesus said to them again, "Peace be with you; as the Father has sent Me, I also send you." And when He had said this, He breathed on them and *said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit.

The men who traveled with him stood speechless, hearing the voice but seeing no one.

For I will send you far away to the Gentiles.'"
